It was April 1982, pioneer of Diabetes treatment in Bangladesh, Prof. Ibrahim shared his master plan to treat Diabetes in Bangladesh by using satellite system. Dr. Patrick Bipul Biswas was asked to take responsibilities of the northern areas using Bogra as a base. Dr. Biswas was lucky to find a few dedicated workers as friends and alias for the job. Some of these are Mr. Habibur Rahman Bhandari, Mr. Amzad Hossain Tazma, Mr. Jabedur Rahman etc. They are the vanguards to start with treatment of Diabetes in the northern regions of Bangladesh.
